In short
This is a static showcase website. It offers no customer account, no cart and no online payment. It sets no cookies and uses no audience measurement tool. The only data collected is through the form on the contact page, which you fill in of your own accord.

What data is processed
- Browsing the site: no data is collected by the site itself. The host records technical logs (IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser type) needed for the service to run securely.
- If you use the contact form: your name, your email address, your company name if you provide it, the subject you choose and the text of your message. This information is sent to me by email and is not stored in any database.
- If you write to me directly: the information contained in your message, processed in order to reply to you.
- If you book a call: the information you enter in the zCal booking tool, hosted by that provider and not by this site.
No banking data is processed by this site: there is no online order or payment. Invoicing for an engagement takes place outside the site, after a quote.
On what legal basis
- Replying to your contact or booking request: your own voluntary request and, where applicable, the performance of pre-contractual measures (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR).
- Filtering automated submissions on the form: legitimate interest in not receiving bot messages (Article 6.1.f of the GDPR).
- Host's technical logs: legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available (Article 6.1.f of the GDPR).
For how long
- Form messages and email exchanges: kept for the duration of the relationship, then three years from the last contact.
- Documents relating to an engagement (quotes, invoices): ten years, in line with accounting obligations.
- Host's technical logs: according to the host's retention policy, from a few days to a few months.
Cookies and trackers
This site sets no cookies, no advertising tracker and no analytics tool, the contact form included. That is why no consent banner is shown to you: there is nothing to consent to.
If you click an outgoing link (booking calendar, LinkedIn, YouTube, a client's website), you leave this site and the rules of the destination site apply, including for cookies.
Recipients and processors
- Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting of the site (Cloudflare Pages) and delivery of pages. Transfers outside the European Union are governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
- Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC: the site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. When they load, your IP address and your browser's technical information are sent to Google.
- zCal: only if you open the booking link and enter information there.
- The email delivery service used for the contact form, which forwards your message to my inbox without keeping it beyond sending.
- My email provider: to receive and keep our exchanges.
Your data is not sold, rented or passed on to third parties for marketing purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port the data concerning you. You can exercise these rights by writing to contact[at]pascaldegut.com; you will receive a reply within one month.
If you are not satisfied with the reply, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés, CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, or at www.cnil.fr.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. The pages are static and there is no database and no online admin area. The contact form goes through a server function that simply relays the message by email, without recording anything.

This notice may be changed to reflect changes to the site or to the regulations. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
